Typhoon Pedring and the DPWH Fiasco
Late last September of 2011, a strong typhoon hit the country leaving Roxas Boulevard flooded and this is probably the first time that this incident has ever happened. What contributed to the flooding is how the seawall along Manila Bay area was constructed. It was high enough to deflect certain wave heights which resulted of course to the amounts of debris that came along with the waves that contributed to clogging the rainwater’s pathways.
After the typhoon, a few DPWH officers visited the area and had their photos taken. The photo was published and there was a twist. The photo was manipulated to an extent where their original photo was cropped and was layered on top of another photo they were in. In other words, to show the public they were there and were doing their job. This was later on discovered by a blogger who noticed that in that photo, the officers looked as if they were floating. But of course, they were cropped and placed on top of that photo anyway. not to mention the artist may have very low standards of editing skills.
Mobile MMO Pocket Legends
I’ve played this game for a few months and I still play occasionally when in the can, before sleeping or simply to check on my friends in game. This game is very simplistic in nature. You level by earning experience points killing monsters inside dungeons. Stat points are given every level up and you may choose to increase Dexterity, Intelligence and Muscle stats depending on which you want your character to focus on.
Birds need dexterity to increase damage and bows are their main weapons. Enchantresses need intelligence and staves are their main weapon to nuke monsters with blinding, burning and shocking area of effect spells. Bears on the other hand need a lot of muscle to withstand punishment and survive as they are meant to be tankers of the team.
